Terms

The agreements behind every quote, short and in plain language.

Who we are

These terms apply to every quote and project of MartiniTech.

Quote and project

You first get a quote made for you: what we build, when, and what it costs. All prices include VAT.

The project starts once you accept the quote in writing or by email. We send these terms as a PDF with every quote.

Payment

You pay the first half to start and the second half just before going live: you see your site before you pay the rest. Paying everything at once is fine too.

You pay via the payment link or the bank details with your quote or invoice.

For businesses only

We only work for businesses: business owners and freelancers having the site made for their business or profession, and foundations and associations. When you accept the quote, you confirm that you are hiring us for your business, profession or organisation, and you give your KVK (Chamber of Commerce) number.

If it turns out you hired us as a private individual after all, email us. We stop the work and refund everything you paid within 14 days.

Your business's own general terms don't apply, unless we agree otherwise together in writing.

Hosting and Care

Hosting costs €15 per month and Care €35 per month, including VAT. Care is only available with our hosting.

A subscription runs month to month. You can cancel any time with at most one month's notice; an email to [email protected] is enough. If you want a different term or notice period, your quote says so.

Who owns the site

Once paid in full, we transfer your site's design and texts to you, and you get a permanent right to use the rest (such as the code) for your site. Anything we use from others (such as fonts or stock photos) falls under its own licence.

We may show your site in our portfolio unless you tell us not to.

Liability

Our liability is limited to at most the amount you paid for the project, except in case of intent or gross negligence.

Governing law

Dutch law applies to these terms and every project. If we can't sort it out together, the court that has jurisdiction under the law decides.
